Sydney Cat Lovers Festival 2026

What an incredible weekend at Sydney Cat Lovers Festival 2026.

Born Bold Cats and The Smart Cat Society were proud to be part of one of Australia’s biggest celebrations of cats, meeting visitors from across the country and talking all things feline behaviour, training, responsible breeding and confident companion cats.

Sir Dobby was once again a crowd favourite, meeting hundreds of visitors and helping demonstrate just how intelligent, adaptable and trainable cats can be.

From skateboarding and recall to targeting, enrichment and confidence work, his skills always attract attention. But the real message behind his training is much bigger — good training builds communication, trust and confidence between cats and their humans.

The festival was also a fantastic opportunity to introduce visitors to Sphynx and Elf cats and talk about temperament, kitten development, socialisation, health and responsible breeding.

One of the best parts of the weekend was simply speaking with so many people who wanted to better understand their cats.

A huge thank you to everyone who visited our stand, met the cats, watched our presentations and shared in the fun.

Sydney, you were amazing.

Sir Dobby returned home fairly certain he had recruited several hundred new personal assistants along the way.
